ResourcesPrequalFunnel sends each calculator lead to Zapier or Make through their own webhook catchers: a Catch Hook trigger in Webhooks by Zapier, or a Custom webhook module in Make. From there you route the borrower's contact, inputs and results to any app those tools support. Lead webhooks need Producer or Brokerage.
Both receive the same PrequalFunnel webhook. Choose by how your team builds automations and how much branching you need.
The pattern is the same in both tools: create a catcher, paste its URL into PrequalFunnel, send a test lead, map fields.
In Zapier, start a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier and choose Catch Hook. In Make, add a Webhooks module, choose Custom webhook and create a new hook. Copy the URL.
Add the URL as your account-wide webhook or on one calculator. Webhooks are on Producer and Brokerage.
Submit the calculator's lead form. In Zapier, test the trigger to pull the sample; in Make, click Redetermine data structure while the hook is listening.
Create or update the contact in your CRM, append a row to a sheet, or post a short alert, mapping inputs, results and utm fields.
Publish the Zap or activate the scenario, then check the run history on the first live lead to confirm every field landed.
These patterns use only the webhook trigger plus apps you likely already have. Field names refer to the PrequalFunnel payload.
| Goal | Trigger filter or route | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Log every lead with the numbers | None | Add a row to a Google Sheet with calculator, results and utm_campaign |
| Get FHA leads to the right LO | calculator equals fha-loan | Create the contact in your CRM and assign the LO |
| Flag high-DTI files for a call first | A mapped DTI result above your threshold | Create a task for a phone call instead of an automated email |
| Separate new from returning borrowers | is_new_contact true or false | Different first message or owner |
| Report on paid campaigns | gclid, fbclid or msclkid present | Write source and campaign to your reporting sheet |
Most breakages come from mapping, not delivery. A few habits keep leads flowing.
Input and result keys differ by calculator. Re-sample when you route a new calculator into an existing Zap or scenario.
Returning borrowers send new submissions. Match on email so your CRM doesn't fill with duplicates.
The contact object carries the consent the borrower gave. Filter on it before any text or call step. See TCPA consent.
Post a short alert with name and calculator to team channels; keep income and debts in the CRM.
Every lead is saved there before the webhook goes out, with the full calculation history in the built-in CRM.
HighLevel workflows accept the webhook directly through an Inbound Webhook trigger, so a Zap or scenario is optional. See the HighLevel mortgage calculator integration guide, or the webhook payload reference if you are building your own endpoint.

No app is needed. You use Webhooks by Zapier with the Catch Hook trigger, which receives the PrequalFunnel webhook directly and exposes every payload field for mapping.
Possibly. Zapier has historically limited Webhooks by Zapier to paid plans. Check your Zapier account; PrequalFunnel itself only needs Producer or Brokerage to send webhooks.
The Webhooks app's Custom webhook module. Create a hook, paste its URL into PrequalFunnel, then send a test lead while Make is listening so it can learn the data structure.
The sample came from a different calculator or an older test. Inputs and results vary by calculator; submit a fresh test lead from the calculator you are routing and re-test the trigger.
Yes. Use the account-wide webhook for one Zap and per-calculator webhooks for others, for example a separate Zap for refinance leads.
The lead is still saved in PrequalFunnel's CRM with all inputs and results and you still get the email alert, because delivery happens after the lead is stored.
Yes, through Zapier or Make. Map calculator, contact fields, key results and utm fields to columns; keep the sheet's sharing restricted because it holds financial details.
Yes. It carries gclid, fbclid and msclkid as flat fields along with utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, landing_page and referrer.
No. The integration is one-way: PrequalFunnel sends each lead out. Calculators do not read data from Zapier or Make.
