What this policy covers
This policy covers prequalfunnel.com, the PrequalFunnel marketing website. The app at app.prequalfunnel.com uses essential session and security cookies to keep you signed in; those are strictly necessary and described in the app. This page lists everything the marketing site stores, in plain language.
Essential storage (always on)
These items use your browser's local storage, not cookies. They are never sent to our servers and never leave your device. They make the site remember the choices you made.
| Name | What it does | How long |

Remembers light, dark or system theme | Until you clear it |
pf-palette |
Remembers the color palette you picked | Until you clear it |

pf-consent |
Remembers your cookie choice and when you made it | Until you clear it |
pf-recent |

pf-lang |
Remembers the language you last picked in the language switcher. It is never used to redirect you | Until you clear it |
Campaign attribution (first-party cookie)
When you arrive from an ad, a campaign link or another website, we remember how you found us. If you later start a trial, buy a plan or send a form, we can tell which page or campaign led to it.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
pf_attr |
Stores your first and most recent traffic source: UTM tags (such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), ad click IDs (such as gclid, fbclid and msclkid), the referring site and the page you landed on |
90 days |
pf_attr is a first-party cookie. It is shared only with app.prequalfunnel.com, where it is saved with your account, purchase or form submission. It is not shared with advertisers or other companies and is not used to follow you across other websites.
Spam protection (functional)
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real people from bots. When a form loads, Turnstile checks signals from your browser and may set its own functional data, such as a short-lived token, for bot detection. It is not used for advertising. Without it, forms cannot be submitted, so it is treated as essential to the forms that use it.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Turnstile data | Bot detection on forms; set by Cloudflare | Short-lived, session or minutes |
Analytics (off until you accept)
If analytics has been configured for this site and you click Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which calls to action are used. It sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>, which can last up to 2 years. If you choose Essential only, the analytics script is never requested.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_<id> |
Google Analytics 4: distinguishes visits and sessions | Up to 2 years |
At launch, analytics is not configured on prequalfunnel.com, so no analytics cookies are set even if you accept. If we turn it on, it will still only load after your consent.
Advertising
We do not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Embedded calculators
Calculators shown on this site load from the app domain. They do not set advertising cookies. When a loan officer embeds a PrequalFunnel calculator on their own website, that website's cookie notice applies to their pages.
Browser signals
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing. Because we do neither, a GPC signal does not change what the site does, but we respect it all the same.
Changing your choice
Your new choice applies immediately. You can also clear site data for prequalfunnel.com in your browser settings, which removes every item listed above. Clearing it resets your theme, accessibility and language preferences, and the consent banner will ask again.
